What We Believe

We Believe . . .

  • the Bible to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative word of God.
  • there is one God, Yehovah, who eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • The LORD Jesus Christ, the second person of the Holy Trinity, came Incarnate though a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is coming again to judge the living and the dead and to establish God's kingdom of righteousness and peace on the earth. Through Him all things were made.
  • in the depravity of man. Man though made in the image of God, in his essential being, is sinful and incapable of meriting God's favor.
  • salvation is by grace, through faith alone in the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to be 'Born Again' (John 3:3, 7) by receiving the LORD Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior, repent (Matthew 4:17, Luke 13:3) from sin, abide in His ways (John 15) and keep His commands (1 John 5:2-3).
  • in the sovereignty of God and the free will of man.
  • the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Third person of the Holy Trinity is for all who receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and LORD; who are children of God. (John 1:12, Acts 2:38-9) He convicts mankind of sin, regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, and sets apart believers to a holy life; and that He keeps and empowers believers day-by-day. He is the Teacher of the Word of God and guides us for daily living
  • in the perpetuity of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that the gifts of the Spirit are essential to fulfill Christ's purpose for the Church.
  • the Church is the body of Believers in Jesus Christ building one another up in love, and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.
  • in the sufficiency of the Scriptures and Holy Spirit to supply us with all things that pertain to life and godliness.
  • in a pre-tribulation rapture of the Church, as well as a mid-tribulation and pre-Wrath rapture, yes, three raptures. ~  Link  ~
  • the pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to the earth.
