Forty Days of Teshuvah ~ Repentance

1) Jewish tradition places the beginning of the 40 Days of Teshuvah at Elul 1. The event is recorded in Exodus 34 where Moses spent a second 40-day period on on Mt. Sinai preparing the 2nd set of tablets achieving complete forgiveness for the people of Israel after the sin of the golden calf. When atonement was competed he descended.

The final 10-day period is known as The Days of Awe; a time of introspection, seeking reconciliation with people you have wronged (Kapparot). Hence the final day is Yom Kippur.

A Biblical Parallel

1 Thessalonians 4:16 - 17
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel,
and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (G726) together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."

The Greek word used for 'caught up' is Strongs #G 726 ἁρπάζω harpázō, har-pad'-zo; from a derivative of G138; to seize (in various applications):—catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force).
~ Harpazo in the Latin is 'rapturo' where we get the English word 'rapture'.

1 Corinthians 15:51 - 55

Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

In comparing these two Scriptures above many teachings have poured fourth. There are Pre-Tribulation Rapture believers who embrace 1 Thessalonians only, some embrace both. There are also believers who understand this to be all encompassing at the end of the Tribilation just prior the LORD's Wrath upon the unrepentant. And that that is the only gathering harvest of believers. And then there is after the Wrath gathering as written in Daniel 12 (Link)

In addtion to these different 'camps', we must consider the Jews who will endure the Tribulation, the Time of Jacob's Trouble Jeremiah 30:7 (Link) Two thirds of the Jew will perish accoding to Zechariah 13:8 (Link) Only a renant will remain. The LORD always saves a remnant of His people.

At the present time it is a common practice during the High Holy Days for Jews to visit the graves of their dearly departed tuypically during the 10 Days of Awe. This article from Orthodox Union has additional information (Link)

Taking into account:

The Trumpet is a curious consideration as we find trumpet blasts throughout the Jewish traditions.

Rosh Hashanah
Yom Turah (100 times)
Following Yom Kippur
Everyday during the month of Elul except on Shabbat
Late on Friday afternoons heralding Shabbat
Heralding Jubilee year.
We also find Seven Trumpets in Revelation, the last one noted in Chapter 11:15 (Link) However, even after this Trumpet there is still much of Revelation that must unfold.

Do we know specifically which trumpet is the last? Is one trumpet blown for 1 Thessalonians and another for 1 Corinthians?

The dead IN CHRIST rise first

Believers who are alive when this happens are quickly snatched away and our bodies are transformed into incorruptable immortal bodies

We can note "IN CHRIST" is not in 1 Corinthians. Are they the rest of the dead at the end of the book of Revelation (Link) who are raised for judgment? Or based on the context of 1 Corinthians 15 that they are believers that are left just prior to God's wrath?

A final consideration in all of this. From the time of Adam to the time Jesus rose from the dead those who died, their bodies remained in the ground (with exception of Enoch and Elijah) with their souls. After the LORD Jesus rose those who had died believing in the coming Messiah and God's redemption of mankind their sins were paid for, their souls were freed to go to heaven, however their bodies remain in the ground. Those who did not (before and after Jesus' time on earth), their souls went to Hell to await judgment and their bodies also remain in the ground until final judgment.

For those who died after Christ and who believed in Him, their souls went immediately to heaven because their sins were paid for, but bodies remained.

However, when the rapture happens ALL those bodies will rise, be transformed and reunited with their souls.

If the Jews are in the custom of visiting the graves of their departed ones particularly during the High Holy Days, what witness will this produce when those from the time of Adam, through Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, all the prophets, patriarchs and matriarchs all who believed in the promises of God, that their dead bodies blast out of the ground, but bodies of the relatives of those living today did not rise. Would they not question if Abraham and King David's bodies came out of the grave, why not their family members?

2) 1 Tishrei : Oct 3, 2024

A 'Ring Of Fire' annular solar eclipse will appear over Easter Island: one of the most isolated spots on Earth.

3) Comet 'Tsuchinshan (Mandarin Chinese for Purple Mountain)-ATLAS(Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System)' will pass directly thorough Virgo. It could be the brightest comet to pass earth in 15 years and could shine as bright as Venus. Jesus is known as the 'Bright and Morning Star'. It is estimated that this is the closest approach of this comet to earth in 80,000 years. Now having gone around the sun and is heading back out into space, it will be visable with the naked eye from 10/13/24 - 10/31/24.

4) Events in Virgo: January 11, 2024 the asteroid Esther 'crowned' Virgo with a 'fly bye' over her head. It coincided with the actual date (1 Tevet, Esther 2:16) that the Biblical Esther was crowned Queen. Add to this that the asteroid Esther entered Virgo in August 2024 and will leave November 2024. On October 11, the comet Tsuchinshan is also in Virgo right beside asteroid Esther just below the womb. Though Ricardo indicates a date, this video is only included on this page for the amazing 'Signs' alone. Note: The Stellarium software from which is information was attained indicates there may be a 2nd Elul. This is unusual.

5) Jewish traditions include wishing each other a sweet year, ending interactions that they would be “written and sealed for good" [in the Book of Life]

Possible Biblical Symbolism of T CrB

Coronae Borealis ( Northern Crown )T CrB Known As The Blaze Star Is One Of Seven Stars Within This Crown.

Coronae Borealis ~ 7 Stars

Scientists predict a recurring nova in the star system Coronae Borealis. The 4th brightest star, also known as the Blaze Star (T CrB),is expected to be visible from Earth by Sept. 28, 2024/Jewish date 25 Elul 5784.
A nova, meaning 'new' (is a temporary brightening of a star before it fades again). It does not die. It is not a supernova which occurs when a massive star explodes at the end of its life.
T CrB, a binary star system; is made up of a red giant and a white dwarf which orbit each other every 227.6 days and belongs to the spectral type M3III.
It is est. 2,000 - 2,630 light - years from Earth.
It has a magnitude of about 10 -10.8, however reached 2.0 on May 12, 866 & 3.0 on Feb. 9, 1946. It is believed it will appear 1,500 times brighter than usual.
It undergoes a nova process once every 80 years.

T CrB ~ The Blaze Star

Consider this symbolism with the words from Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
And from John in Revelation 1:5b "To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,"

The Red Giant symbolizing our sins and His blood. And the white dwarf symbolizing the LORD taking our sins. The earth-size white dwarf slowly strips hydrogen away from the red giant. When enough hydrogen accumulates on the white dwarf, the growing pressure and heat triggers a thermonuclear blast visible from Earth.
This had to have happened at least 2000 years ago for it to come to earth at this time and to be on THIS day when the LORD God said 'Let there be light.' How amazing is this!
Add to that this nova explosion happens once every 80 years. It is a once in a lifetime event, generation after generation from the beginning! Apparently we are at the end of a significant generation.
