Final Hope
It Is Your Decision. Choose Wisely!!!
"Do not love the world or the
things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the
Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the
flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the
Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the
lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. . . . ~
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but
because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar
but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who
denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have
the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also."
~ 1 John 2:15-17, 20-22
"But I do not want you to be
ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you
sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died
and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in
Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who
are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means
precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from
heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the
trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who
are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with
the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."
~ 1
Thessalonians 4:13-18
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by
word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had
come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come
unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed,
the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that
is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the
temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Do you not remember
that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you
know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now
restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the
lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the
breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan,
with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous
deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the
love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God
will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had
pleasure in unrighteousness."
~ 2 Thessalonians 2 1-12
" . . . that you may be mindful of
the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the
commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this
first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to
their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming?
For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were
from the beginning of creation.” For this they willfully forget:
that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth
standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then
existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the
earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire
until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved,
do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a
thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not
slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is
longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that
all should come to repentance."
~ 2 Peter 3:2-9
"Therefore do not cast away your
confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance,
so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the
promise: “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will
come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in
him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of
those who believe to the saving of the soul." ~
Hebrews 10:35-38

"Therefore, having been justified
by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we
stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that,
but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces
perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured
out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
~
Romans 5:1-5
"I beseech you therefore,
brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable
service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God. Serve God with Spiritual
Gifts. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is
among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to
think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure
of faith."
~ Romans 12:1-3
The Way, the Truth, and the Life
“Let not your heart be troubled; you
believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many
mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a
place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come
again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be
also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.” Thomas said
to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we
know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and
the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." ~ John
14:1-6
The Father Revealed
“If you had known Me, you would have
known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen
Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is
sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so
long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has
seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you
not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words
that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the
Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the
Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the
works themselves." ~ John 14:7-11
The Answered Prayer
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who
believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater
works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever
you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified
in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." ~
John 14:12-14
Jesus Promises Another Helper
“If you love Me, keep My
commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you
another Helper, that He may abide with you forever — the Spirit of
truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor
knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in
you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you." ~ John
14:15-18
Indwelling of the Father and the Son
“A little while longer and the world
will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will
live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you
in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is
he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and
I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot)
said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to
us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If
anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him,
and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not
love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not
Mine but the Father’s who sent Me." ~ John 14:19-24
The Gift of His Peace
“These things I have spoken to you
while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom
the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and
bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I
leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I
give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid. You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming
back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I
am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I. “And
now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass,
you may believe. I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler
of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. But that the world
may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me
commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here."
~ John
14:25-31
“The first of all the commandments
is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you
shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul,
with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first
commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love
your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater
than these.”
~ Mark 12:29-31
Maintain Your Life with God
"Beloved, while I was very
diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it
necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the
faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain
men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this
condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into
lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ."
~ Jude 3 - 4
"But you, beloved, building
yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord
Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” And on some have compassion,
making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of
the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Now to
Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,And to present you
faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and
majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever.Amen."
~ Jude 20-25
Jude, the half brother of Jesus Christ,
calls us beloved. Remember for all the difficulties that we go
through and what the world is about to go through, that God has
claimed us. We who have Jesus Christ as our LORD and Savior belong to
God. He has written our names in His book of Life.
If you have not received the LORD,
please listen closely to the Scriptures. God is telling us what is
happening now and will happen soon.
If you are not a Believer, I urge
you to not let any more time go by. For those of us who are
Believers, these will be words of confirmation and comfort. Be
assured that God knows the days ahead. He will guide us. Concern
yourself with your own walk with Him, you follow Him and keep your
eyes on Him. Others will be held accountable for their own actions
as will we all. Learn from Him. And know that yes, He does indeed love YOU!
